Oh my god, i love barn owls. I have always wanted one to just live in my yard and look beautiful. we do have an owl that haunts the back jungle in the winter, but i've never seen it, only heard it. also, i'm pretty sure the last one is a falcon. maybe. a falcon named alistair (less likely).

I think the last one is a peregrine falcon. They're the ones most commonly used in 'show' casing that type of birds skills. Sadly, I remember because I did a project on them way back in grade... 6 or 7... lol So that's going on... *cough* a long time ago. Anyways, I always thought they were cool :)

I love owls too. They're so unique! My grandmother also loved owls. When she passed away, the grandkids bought flowers and carried them out as she was led out of the funeral home. I choose ones that happened to have a little owl figurine because I knew she liked them (she had an owl 'collection' of little toys and knick knacks). Random story, but this just reminded me of that... heh We still have the flowers.
