In other news, now that I have (almost) all the furniture I need, I am going to work on art for the walls. I'm going to be printing a couple of sets of my own photos (more on that later), and I just ordered a poster from Achewood and a print from my Vox neighbor Marc Johns. YAY!

What are your three favorite album covers of all time*? Any honorable mentions?

I will tell you right now that the best, ultimate, totally coolest and most awesome album cover of all time is "Greenmind," by Dinosaur jr., and that's no lie. I loved that girl on the cover; I wanted to be her. For some reason that image is as burned into my brain as are the other, more culturally-approved, "classic" images I chose. The other two I'd put in my top three are "Music of My Mind," by Stevie Wonder, for the sunglasses reflection alone, and "Abbey Road," by some British band, for probably obvious reasons (it's a classic, it's culturally embedded, blahdy-blah), but also because I just love the confident stride. Honorable mention goes to Joni Mitchell's "Blue" for the gorgeosity of the photograph.

It probably goes without saying that I also think these albums are each just fantastic.

*I absolutely had to fix this. It's "favorite of all time," no hyphen. You hyphenate when you're making the phrase an adjective, as in "all-time favorite." Sorry, it's a compulsion I have. I'm medicating. With whiskey.
